FAQ:
Where is your studio located?
Answer: I operate a professional-grade private home studio in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. To maintain privacy and a focused creative environment, I provide the exact location to clients only after a session is booked and a deposit is received.
Do you work with artists remotely?
Answer: Absolutely. About 70% of my work is done remotely with artists worldwide. For mixing and production, we can collaborate via file sharing, Zoom, and high-quality audio streaming like Muse so you can hear the studio output in real-time from your own home.
What files do I need to send for mixing?
Answer: Please send consolidated, dry WAV stems (24-bit/44.1kHz or higher) with all effects like reverb or delay turned off, unless they are essential to the "sound" of the track (please still send as a separate stem). Include a rough demo mix so I can hear your current vision.
Who owns the rights to the music we make?
Answer: For standard "work-for-hire" engineering and mixing, you retain 100% ownership of your masters. For full production or co-writing where I contribute significant melodic or lyrical content, we will discuss a fair split of publishing and master royalties before the project begins.
What happens during a "Production" session?
Answer: Production is where we bring your idea to life. Whether you have a rough voice memo or just a vibe, I help build the instrumental foundation. I can either co-write the track with you in the room or build the entire instrumental on my own to fit your vision.
